​MEET RYAN SHRIVER - Trainer
: Ryan is the Director of Religious Education at First Unitarian Universalist Church of Rochester, MN and a trainer for the 7th-9th, 10th-12th, Young Adult, and Adult levels of Our Whole Lives. He lives with his wife Heidi--who is a clinical social worker at the Mayo Clinic--and their four children, three of whom have taken at least one Our Whole Lives class.
​MEET JUDITH GALAS - Trainer
A retired Language Arts teacher, Judith Galas continues to teach journalism to college students, technical and memoir writing to adult learners and Our Whole Lives to youth and adults. She travels widely training OWL facilitators to prepare for their work with youth and adults, and at Plymouth Congregational Church in Lawrence, she is the K/1 OWL teacher. She's currently working to bring Young Adult OWL to the women at Topeka Correctional Facility. She lives in Lawrence with her wife and their daughter and grandson.
​MEET Rachel Wathen - Host
Full-time Director of Religious Education for both children and adults at Shawnee Mission Unitarian Universalist Church going on four years.
She was fortunate to be trained in 7th-9th/10th-12th Grade OWL facilitation by Ryan and Judith.
The mother of three children – Max, Natalie, and Ruby.
